Fiorentina signs midfielder Arthur Atta for €25 million
Fiorentina completed the signing of French midfielder Arthur Atta from Udinese for a reported €25 million plus bonuses. The five‑year contract includes an annual salary of about €1.3 million and a clause giving Udinese 30 percent of any future resale, which can be reduced to 10 percent against a modest fee paid next year.
The deal follows a busy summer for the Viola, which also brought in Brazilian forward Viery and loaned centre‑back Radu Dragusin. The club is reportedly monitoring other targets such as Kristian Thorstvedt, Luca Koleosho and additional offensive options while preparing for a roster overhaul that may see several players, including Robin Gosens, depart.
Separate speculation links Fiorentina with former academy product Costantino Favasuli, attracting interest from other Serie A sides. Overall, the transfer activity signals a strategic revamp of the squad under sporting director Fabio Paratici.
