Fiorentina targets young prospects Luca Koleosho and Caleb Okoli
Fiorentina is undertaking a market overhaul after a costly 90‑million‑euro investment last summer that did not deliver expected results. President Giuseppe Commisso, along with directors Fabio Paratici and Alessandro Ferrari, are scouting and negotiating to both sell players and acquire new talent while trimming the wage bill.
The club’s primary focus is on young, high‑potential Italian players. Luca Koleosho, a 21‑year‑old who spent last season on loan at Paris FC, has been linked to Fiorentina following recent friendlies against Luxembourg and Greece. Defender Caleb Okoli, 24, currently at Leicester City, was bought by the English club for roughly €15 million in 2024 after progressing through Atalanta’s youth system and could be available for under €10 million. Both targets are seen as key to strengthening Fiorentina’s flank and defensive options ahead of the next Serie A campaign.
