Fiorentina's Paratici tackles transfer missteps as Inter ramps up Curtis Jones bid

Fabio Paratici, recently appointed sporting director of Fiorentina, inherited a weak executive structure and several costly transfer errors. He is trying to off‑load Lucas Beltrán, bought for almost €20 million, for about €7 million, and must address the €25 million outlay on Roberto Piccoli, a player who never filled the void left by Moise Kean.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan is intensifying its summer market activity, having raised its offer for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones from €20 million to €25 million, though Liverpool is demanding at least €30 million. Inter is also linked with other targets such as Andrea Cambiaso, but the Curtis Jones negotiation remains the most prominent development.
