Fioretta Mariè explains removal of acting from Amici

Fioretta Mariè has addressed the removal of acting classes from the Italian talent show ‘Amici’. The former instructor explained that the decision was primarily economic, noting that while singers are more profitable, actors often struggled to find success beyond the show's finals.

Mariè, who spent ten years with the program, expressed her continued affection for the show and its creator, Maria De Filippi. She noted that while acting has been phased out, new disciplines such as sports may be introduced in upcoming editions.
