Fiorio Cup returns to Ceglie Messapica with Alex Fiorio Trophy

The sixth edition of the Fiorio Cup is scheduled to take place on October 31 and November 1 at Masseria Camarda in the Ceglie Messapica territory. This year’s event will be dedicated to Alex Fiorio, the founder of the Rally University and the creator of the competition, through the establishment of the Alex Fiorio Trophy.

His daughter, Mariapaola, is leading the organization alongside a team of collaborators to ensure the event's continuity. The competition will feature a traditional 4.5-kilometer dirt track prepared for high-level racing. Past participants have included world champion Kalle Rovanperä, as well as Andrea Crugnola and Andrea Mabellini.

The event is supported by the Puglia Region and the Province of Brindisi, with Fastweb-Vodafone serving as an official partner and Radio Monte Carlo as the official media partner. As part of the commemorations, a tree will be planted in honor of Alex Fiorio.
