FIPEM festival explores literature and journalism through women's perspectives
The first International Women's Thought Festival (FIPEM) held in Tlalpan brought together writers and journalists to discuss the role of women in literature and journalism. The event featured various presentations and talks regarding professional trajectories and creative processes.
Notable participants included Dahlia de la Cerda, who presented her book ‘Medea me cantó un corrido’, which explores themes such as abortion, forced disappearances, and popular culture. Other scheduled activities include a presentation by philologists Ana Garriga and Carmen Urbita, and a session by Elena Poniatowska regarding the work of Rosario Castellanos.
