Fire destroys 11 rooms in Anlo Town compound house

A fire outbreak has destroyed 11 of the 23 rooms in a compound house located in Anlo Town, near the Old Slaughter House, within the New Juaben North Municipality of Ghana's Eastern Region.

A 10-member crew from the New Juaben North Municipal Fire Station was dispatched to the scene. The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) reported that firefighters successfully contained and extinguished the blaze before it could spread to neighboring properties. While the fire spared adjoining buildings, it destroyed several personal belongings, two electric motorbikes, and a bicycle.

Access to the affected building has been restricted due to concerns regarding its structural stability. Senior officers from the Fire and Police Services have visited the site, and investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the outbreak.
