Fire destroys bedroom in Jerez apartment, no injuries reported
A fire broke out in the early hours of Thursday on the sixth floor of a building on Avenida Alcalde Álvaro Domecq in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. The blaze completely burned a bedroom and filled the rest of the home with smoke and soot. Eleven firefighters from the Consorcio de Bomberos de la Provincia de Cádiz responded with five vehicles, extinguished the flames and ventilated the premises. No personal injuries were reported and neighboring apartments were not affected. The cause of the fire has not been disclosed.
