Bytów restaurant Młyn destroyed by major fire

A significant fire broke out on Sunday, October 25, at the Młyn restaurant in Bytów, a local establishment previously featured on the television program ‘Kuchenne rewolucje’. The blaze originated in the kitchen and quickly spread to the attic of the historic building.

Seventeen fire brigade units responded to the emergency. While the fire was eventually contained, the attic was completely destroyed, and the building sustained significant damage. Two individuals managed to evacuate the premises before emergency services arrived, and no injuries were reported.

The restaurant's owners have announced that the establishment remains closed while they assess the damage and make critical decisions regarding the future of the business. Police and forensic experts are currently investigating the site to determine the exact cause of the fire.
