Fire at Bisericani Monastery in Neamț kills man, damages historic complex
A strong fire broke out on Friday morning at the Bisericani Monastery in Neamț County, Romania. The blaze quickly spread from a chilia to a 400 m² building that houses accommodation rooms, the monastery archive, a canteen and storage areas. Firefighters from the Piatra‑Neamț detachment were dispatched and worked to contain the flames.
