Fire on Roof of Home in Tangará da Serra, Mato Grosso Extinguished Without Injuries

On June 9, the Corpo de Bombeiros Militar de Mato Grosso responded to a blaze at a residence in Tangará da Serra, about 245 km from Cuiabá. crews from the 3ª Companhia Independente arrived at 13:25 and found the fire confined to the roof, where the wooden support structure was burning. The building’s interior was unaffected, with only smoke inside.

Firefighters ventilated the house, removed part of the isotermic tile roof to reach the flames, and extinguished the blaze. They then performed cooling and residual‑heat monitoring to prevent re‑ignition. No injuries or property damage were reported.

The operation was supervised by SD Karine Miranda and reported by the state government.
