Fire incidents reported at Brazilian manufacturing facilities

Two separate fire incidents have been reported at manufacturing sites in Brazil.

In Apucarana, a short circuit in electrical wiring caused a fire at an upholstery factory in the Pirapó district. Company brigadiers managed to control the flames before the Fire Department arrived. Firefighters subsequently ventilated the area to remove smoke and provided guidance to the owner. The lack of flammable materials in the immediate vicinity of the wiring prevented the fire from spreading to the company's storage area.

In Brasília, a major fire destroyed the Pradella Alimentos factory on October 11. The company, which has operated for 12 years producing various frozen goods such as pizzas and doughs, has launched a fundraising campaign with a goal of R$ 5 million to rebuild the industrial unit and preserve local jobs. As of the latest report, the campaign had received contributions from over 2,880 people.
