Fire Service Chief Marco Ghimenti visits Marche region

Marco Ghimenti, Chief of the National Fire Corps, conducted an institutional visit to the Marche region on October 26, 2026. Accompanied by Francesco Notaro, the central director for training, the delegation was received at Falconara Marittima airport by regional director Vincenzo Bennardo and Ancona commander Giuseppe Costa.

During the visit, Ghimenti met with operational and administrative personnel at the Ancona provincial command and held meetings with provincial commanders. The delegation also visited a firefighter who was injured during an intervention in Sirolo on July 2, expressing the administration's support for the colleague and their family.

The visit concluded at the Territorial Training Center in Senigallia, where Ghimenti and Notaro inspected facilities used for the training and instruction of both operational and administrative staff.
