Fireblocks launches Wallet Pools and promotes stablecoin tokenization at Chile blockchain summit
Fireblocks, the digital‑asset infrastructure platform, presented its vision for stablecoins, tokenisation and the next generation of financial infrastructure at the Blockchain Summit Latam Chile 2026 in Santiago. Sarina Gowland, Fireblocks’ Sales Director for LATAM, joined a panel with representatives from Relámpago Payments, Buda.com, IBM Digital Asset Haven and the University of Chile, highlighting the region’s appetite for modernising payment and settlement systems. The company also announced the rollout of Wallet Pools, a new feature that aggregates multiple vaults into a single pool and uses a health‑tiered round‑robin algorithm to route transactions around stuck vaults. Wallet Pools is part of a reliability stack that includes Transaction Timeout, which can mark stalled transactions as failed, and Account Traffic Control, a real‑time monitoring tool that alerts operators to vault health issues. Fireblocks serves thousands of institutions, including major banks and fintechs, aiming to reduce costs and increase speed for cross‑border payments.
