Firefighter Milton Ferreira das Meninas dies during duty in Cuiabá

Subtenente Milton Ferreira das Meninas, a 47-year-old member of the Mato Grosso Military Firefighters Corps, died after suffering a seizure while on duty at the 1st Military Firefighters Battalion in Cuiabá.

Despite receiving medical assistance at the scene, he did not survive. Ferreira, a native of Poxoréu, had dedicated 28 years to military service and had received several medals for his professional contributions.

Governor Otaviano Pivetta and Firefighters Corps General Commander Colonel Flávio Glêdson Vieira Bezerra both expressed their condolences, praising the officer's commitment to serving society. Ferreira is survived by two children.
