Firefighters Hold Tactical Demonstration in Novo Virje, Croatia

A tactical demonstration exercise was conducted by firefighters at the Čarda recreation area in Novo Virje, Croatia. The event showcased operational readiness, equipment, and skills for various crisis situations and included a special session for children and youth. County prefect Tomislav Golubić and municipal mayor Mirko Remetović attended, alongside fire units from Novo Virje and neighboring municipalities of Molve, Virje, Kalinovac, Ferdinandovac, and Đurđevac.

Officials highlighted the high level of training and equipment of the regional fire forces, noting their frequent deployments to the Adriatic coast during summer months. The exercise also aimed to motivate younger members of fire societies and reinforce the civil protection system’s importance for citizen safety.
