Firefighters perform successful kitten rescues in Colorado and Streetsboro

Firefighters in different regions of the United States have successfully completed rescues of stranded kittens.

In Colorado, Adams County Fire Rescue responded to a call regarding a five-week-old kitten trapped in a well. A firefighter was lowered on a tripod to safely retrieve the animal after ensuring the air quality was safe. Following the rescue, the kitten was initially taken to an animal shelter, but a member of the fire rescue team subsequently adopted the pet.

In another incident, the Streetsboro Fire Department responded to a call at an apartment complex where a kitten was stuck high in a tree. Firefighter Boone used a ground ladder to reach the animal and safely bring it back to the ground, where it was returned to a responsible caretaker.
