Firefighters rescue kitten trapped in Bursa drain

In the Inegöl district of Bursa, Turkey, a young kitten became stuck in the rain‑water drain of a three‑storey apartment on Hamidiye Mahallesi Suyolu Cami Street. A passerby, Gülsüm Hallı, heard the animal’s meowing, returned after dropping her child at school, and reported the incident to the 112 emergency number.

Firefighters arrived promptly, extracted the kitten from the pipe, and handed it back to Hallı. The rescue was captured on video by a nearby resident, and Hallı thanked the fire brigade for their swift and caring response.
