Firefly Studios launches WuselFaktory publishing label, adds Fool King to its roster

Firefly Studios, the developer behind the Stronghold (Twierdza) series, announced the creation of a new publishing division called WuselFaktory. The label will focus on strategy‑genre games and will publish titles from other developers as well as Firefly’s own projects. The first game to be released under WuselFaktory is Fool King, a tactical asynchronous PvP title slated for early‑access launch later this year, with a Polish subtitle option. Firefly confirmed that the new publishing arm will not affect ongoing work on Stronghold 4, which remains on schedule as a prequel to the original game, and the studio’s internal teams will continue their separate development tracks.

The move marks Firefly’s first foray into publishing after 25 years of solely developing games, aiming to support independent creators in the strategy space while expanding its own portfolio.
