Firefox browser containers enhance privacy and organization

The Firefox browser allows users to create containers, which are isolated tab environments within a single browser window. These containers enable users to separate different aspects of their digital lives, such as work, shopping, banking, and private browsing.

By using color-coded labels, users can visually distinguish between different environments. Because containers are isolated, they prevent data exchange between them. This allows a user to be logged into multiple accounts for the same service simultaneously—for example, using different email accounts for professional and private use—without the accounts interfering with one another.

Furthermore, containers provide enhanced privacy by preventing websites in one container from accessing cookies or tracking activity occurring in other containers. This functionality differs from incognito or private tabs, which share a common temporary session and do not offer the same level of isolation between different browsing activities.
