Fireworks festivals held and scheduled in Japan

Various fireworks festivals are being held or scheduled across Japan. In Higashihiroshima, the 4th Shakunage Lake Summer Cooling Fireworks Display featured approximately 2,000 fireworks launched from the lakeshore, creating a visual effect reflected on the water's surface.

In Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture, the 4th Hoshikawa Fireworks Festival is scheduled for November 14, 2026, at Saijo Tsurugi Shrine. The event is expected to include approximately 1,000 fireworks, a portable shrine procession (mikoshi togyo), and various food stalls.
