First Camp to sell Klim Strand Camping in Denmark for 17.5 million DKK
The Swedish camping group First Camp has put Klim Strand Camping in Nordjylland, Denmark, up for sale for 17.5 million DKK. The decision is part of a strategic restructuring aimed at optimizing the company’s destination portfolio and prioritizing investments for long-term development.
Klim Strand Camping covers approximately 265,000 square meters and includes nearly 7,000 square meters of buildings. Facilities include a water park, wellness area with spa and sauna, indoor playground, restaurant, cabins, and various sports facilities. The site is noted for its ability to attract guests year-round, providing a robust operational foundation. Additionally, the site has approval to expand capacity from 580 to 750 units.
First Camp will continue to operate the site until a buyer is found, meaning guests can still book stays as usual. The company currently owns more than 70 camping sites across six countries, including 17 in Denmark.
