First Citizens Bank announced the appointment of Stacie Bales Barton and Sharon Thompson as regional executive vice presidents to lead its expansion in the Central United States. Barton will head the newly formed Community West region, covering Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Wyoming, Minnesota, Idaho and the Dakotas, while Thompson will oversee the Northeast territory, including St. Louis, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Northern Virginia. Their hires follow First Citizens' agreement to acquire 138 branches across the region and are intended to strengthen the bank’s presence and client services.

First Community Bank promoted Kembralyn Redman to assistant vice president and community engagement officer in Batesville, Arkansas. Redman will coordinate sponsorships, charitable giving, volunteer initiatives and community events, working with schools, nonprofit groups and civic organizations throughout northeast Arkansas and additional markets served by the bank. She joined First Community Bank in 2016 and holds a marketing management degree from Arkansas State University.
