Mariana Ochoa first eliminated on La Casa de los Famosos México
On Sunday, 2 August 2026, the Mexican reality‑television series La Casa de los Famosos México announced its first elimination. Host Galilea Montijo revealed that singer Mariana Ochoa, former member of the pop group OV7, received the lowest public support after a week of nominations and was removed from the house. The public vote, conducted through the official Vix platform, recorded roughly ten million votes for Ochoa, while fellow nominee Luis Chaparro was saved.
The nominated lineup also included Yanet García, Aldo Rendón, Ximena Herrera, Memo Schutz and Arantza Ruiz, with García receiving the most points from housemates. After her exit, Ochoa expressed disappointment at not staying longer but said she was “content and calm,” and she plans to resume promotion of her new single “Te mandé a la goma.” She also thanked fellow contestants Ernesto Laguardia and Cynthia Klitbo for their support. The elimination sets the early tone for the competition, influencing alliances and strategies for the remaining participants as they vie for the 4 million‑peso prize.
