First Nations and Pasifika XV win inaugural Kaume'a Ofi Trophy

The First Nations and Pasifika (FNP) XV defeated the Tonga President's XV 43-19 in Nuku'alofa to claim the inaugural Kaume'a Ofi Trophy. Led by captain Triston Reilly and head coach Wycliffe Palu, the FNP XV established an early lead, scoring 19 points within the first 12 minutes under wet conditions.

Despite a mid-match rally by the Tongan hosts, Reilly secured the victory with his second try of the match. The tour was supported by the Australian Government's PacificAus Sports program. This event follows the FNP XV's previous appearance against the British and Irish Lions and occurs amidst broader regional discussions regarding Pacific representation in Super Rugby.
