First Sight Media completes record‑breaking UK graduation season

First Sight Media, a specialist production and streaming firm, wrapped its busiest graduation season in July, delivering 500 ceremonies across 50 UK universities. The operation captured 450 hours of footage and deployed a crew of 100 technicians nationwide to handle staging, lighting, sound, camera work, live streaming, on‑screen graphics and full‑ceremony recordings.

University of Derby’s student records manager Antonia Fox praised the service, saying, “We never have to worry about any of the technical aspects of the process.” Managing director Rich Belcher added, “Graduation season is one of the busiest and most rewarding times of the year… I’m incredibly proud of the entire team for delivering another successful season.” The company now turns its focus to the upcoming exhibition and conference season.
