FirstBank to host Agric and Export Expo to boost Nigerian exports

FirstBank of Nigeria Ltd will host its fifth Agric and Export Expo on September 16 and 17, 2026, at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos. Themed ‘From Farm to Global Markets: Building Nigeria’s Export Value Chain’, the event aims to strengthen the country’s agricultural export value chain and increase non-oil export earnings to support economic diversification.

The two-day expo will convene policymakers, agribusiness leaders, investors, and regulators to address challenges such as access to finance, technology-driven innovation, market linkages, and productivity. Discussions will focus on improving Nigeria’s competitiveness in global trade and enhancing food security.

Senator Abubakar Kyari, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, is scheduled to deliver the keynote address. The event will also feature several state governors as special guests and include industry leaders from companies such as Dangote Fertiliser Ltd, BUA Foods Plc, Sunbeth Global Concepts Ltd, and Agro Traders Ltd.
