Fiscalía General and CRE sign agreement for electronic legal requirements

The Fiscalía General del Estado and the Cooperativa Rural de Electrificación (CRE) have signed an inter-institutional agreement to enable the electronic transmission and receipt of legal requirements.

Under this agreement, prosecutors will be able to send and receive requests digitally through the ROMA Ecosystem. This initiative is part of a ‘zero paper’ policy aimed at reducing judicial delays and modernizing the justice system by eliminating physical paperwork and unnecessary administrative hurdles.

Attorney General Roger Mariaca stated that the coordination serves as an institutional bridge to exchange information securely and controlled. CRE President José Alejandro Durán Rek noted that the agreement aims to provide legal security and improve quality of life for citizens in the department.
