Fiscalía General de la Nación provides mobile justice services to earthquake victims

The Fiscalía General de la Nación implemented a “Ruta Móvil” (Mobile Route) strategy to provide justice services to individuals affected by the earthquake in Pereira and Dosquebradas. Between August 31 and September 4, multidisciplinary teams visited temporary shelters to assist 529 people.

Services provided included the reception of complaints, legal guidance, and the activation of protection mechanisms against domestic violence. Additionally, the “Futuro Colombia” program conducted activities for women, children, and adolescents to prevent gender-based crimes within the temporary housing environments.
