Fisherwoman rescues seagull entangled in fishing gear

Fisherwoman Sabina Claudia successfully rescued a seagull that had become entangled in fishing gear during a recent trip. The bird was found floating on the sea surface with its wings spread, hooked by both its beak and leg.

To facilitate the rescue, the crew used a lure and a predator to pull the bird toward their boat. Once on board, they were able to remove the fishing tackle. Claudia noted the bird remained remarkably calm during the process. After being released, the seagull flew away to join other birds that had been circling the boat.
