Fishing competitions held in Roda de Ter and Cambrils

Various fishing competitions were held in Catalonia, combining sport with local festivities and charitable causes.

In Roda de Ter, the Societat de Pescadors Esportius de Roda de Ter organized a fishing contest as part of the town's major festival. The event took place along the Ter River, where David Pujol secured the largest catch with a carp weighing 4.110 kilograms, achieving a total weight of 5.520 kilograms.

In Cambrils, the Club Nàutic Cambrils held a charity fishing competition to support the Banc dels Aliments de Tarragona. Ten boats participated in the event, with the vessel In Loy, owned by Pedro Baringo, taking first place and the prize for the largest catch. All fish captured during the competition were donated to the food bank to be distributed among its users.
