Paso de la Patria prepares for 61st National Dorado Festival

Paso de la Patria is preparing for the 61st edition of the Fiesta Nacional del Dorado, scheduled from August 14 to 17. The event features boat fishing competitions on the Paraná River, musical festivals, the Expo Dorado, and various gastronomic and recreational activities.

Mayor Oscar ‘Chino’ García emphasized the importance of conservation and the sanitary health of the fish species, noting that technicians from the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste (Unne) and specialists from Rosario will be present to evaluate the catch. The local administration is also working with Capresturi to ensure fair pricing within the commercial sector.

The festival schedule includes a fisherman's caravan, the selection of the National Ambassador, and live performances by various musical acts. The Ministry of Tourism will support the event with an institutional stand to promote provincial tourism.
