Fishing on Orfű music festival kicks off in Hungary

The 18th edition of the Fishing on Orfű festival opened on June 24 and will run until June 27 in Orfű, Hungary. Organisers announced that tickets sold out weeks in advance. The lineup features around 150 performances, including headliners such as Kispál és a Borz, Quimby, Carson Coma, Hiperkarma and many emerging acts.

Beyond concerts, the festival hosts a contemporary art exhibition titled “Peace & Love” with 39 paintings, installations and live‑painting works, as well as a “Civil liget” program where NGOs provide health checks, blood donation, mental‑health talks and other community services. Additional off‑programs include sport activities, gastronomy zones, a wine tasting area, and a brunch where the date for the 2027 festival edition will be announced.

The event continues the tradition of combining music with cultural, social and health initiatives, aiming to offer a safe space for attendees throughout the four‑day program.
