Fishing traditions celebrated in Pesaro and Brivio

Various fishing traditions and competitions were celebrated in Italy on August 22, 2026. In Baia Flaminia, Pesaro, the second edition of the ‘Pesca alla Tratta’ historical reenactment drew thousands of attendees. Organized by the Pro Loco di Pesaro, the event aimed to revive a community tradition that had been absent from the city for over fifty years, highlighting the historical connection between the local population and the sea.

In Olginate, the 31st edition of the Trofeo Comune di Brivio took place along the banks of the Adda river. Organized by the Associazione Pescatori Sportivi Brivio, the night fishing competition focused on community building and promoting the sport. Corrado Bertuletti was named the overall winner of the event, which featured participants ranging from experienced members to young enthusiasts.
