Fisnik Asllani transfer to RB Leipzig fails after medical issues

Fisnik Asllani’s potential transfer from Hoffenheim to RB Leipzig has collapsed after the 23-year-old failed a medical examination. Although a deal was reportedly close, involving a €25 million release clause and a contract potentially lasting until 2031, the medical issues led Leipzig to withdraw from the operation.

As a result of the failed move, Asllani will remain at Hoffenheim. Following the news, the striker responded on social media with a message stating, “You cannot stop me, I promise,” signaling his intent to continue competing in the Bundesliga.

The collapse of the Leipzig deal has renewed interest from other major clubs. Both FC Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund have been monitoring the striker throughout the summer, and he is now considered available on the transfer market again.
