FIT 2026 tourism fair in Buenos Aires to be largest in history

Argentina has officially presented the 30th edition of the Feria Internacional de Turismo de América Latina (FIT 2026), scheduled to take place from September 26 to 29 at La Rural in Buenos Aires. Tourism Secretary Daniel Scioli stated that this milestone edition is expected to be the largest in the fair's history.

Organizers project the event will feature over 350 exhibitors and delegations from 60 countries, covering more than 20,000 square meters. The Dominican Republic has been named the guest country of honor, following a reported 120 percent increase in tourists from the nation visiting Argentina. This growth follows political decisions to implement visa exemptions for citizens of the Dominican Republic, China, and India.

The event will include an International Sports Tourism Forum on September 29. While the weekend portions of the fair are open to the general public, the early weekdays are primarily dedicated to tourism professionals.
