Fit India Sundays on Cycle celebrates World Food Day at NSUT
The 95th edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle was held at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) in Dwarka to observe World Food Day. Under the theme ‘Pedal for Fitness, Ride for a Healthier World’, the event emphasized the link between physical activity, mindful nutrition, and general well-being.
Organized in collaboration with the Food Corporation of India (FCI) and the Centre for Public Health and Food Safety (CPHFS), the initiative supported the Sports Authority of India’s Fit India Movement. The event featured various fitness advocates, health influencers, and ambassadors to promote active lifestyles.
World Food Day, observed annually on October 16, commemorates the 1945 founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. This year’s global theme, ‘Innovate Today’, focuses on improving food production, distribution, and consumption.
