FIT‑EASY launches first Nagoya location as Japan sees new gym openings

FIT‑EASY Co. opened its first store in Nagoya's Mizuho Ward, the FIT‑EASY Takatsujiminami location, on 31 July 2026 as a pre‑opening. The facility offers a range of fitness equipment, simulation golf, a men’s sauna, a high‑oxygen recovery room, and new amusement services such as FIT‑BEAUTY and FIT‑VOICE. Early‑bird members receive waivers on enrollment fees and a permanent ¥550 monthly discount if they join by 16 August. The venue operates 24 hours a day with a limited pre‑opening schedule (10:00‑21:00) and will fully open on 17 August.

Separately, Anytime Fitness inaugurated the Todakoen branch in Toda City, Saitama, on 29 July. The 1,200‑square‑meter gym expands the U.S.‑origin franchise’s Japanese footprint, which already includes over 1,200 locations nationwide and more than 1.1 million members. The new club provides standard fitness facilities aimed at serving local residents as a health‑focused community hub.
