Fiumicino postal services relocate to new temporary site
Starting September 8, 2026, postal services in Fiumicino will undergo a temporary relocation. Due to the closure of the historic Riccio di Mare branch, Poste Italiane is moving operations to a dedicated counter located in via del Faro, within the Fiumicino Paese district.
The temporary counter will operate Monday through Friday from 8:20 to 13:45, and Saturday from 8:20 to 12:45. Customers can access all standard postal operations, including savings books, BancoPosta accounts, and mail collection. While the dedicated counter has specific hours, the via del Faro location remains accessible for other services until 19:05 on weekdays and 12:45 on Saturdays.
Additionally, residents can utilize Punto Poste and PuntoLis locations at local businesses, such as tobacconists, for tasks like paying bills, recharging Postepay cards, and shipping packages.
