Fiumicino to Upgrade Public Lighting on Multiple Streets from Sep 2026
The municipality of Fiumicino, Italy, will begin a new phase of public‑lighting upgrades in September 2026. The works will cover numerous streets, including San Carlo, Palidoro, Via Gauthier, Via Giacomo Cavalli and other sections, with the aim of improving safety, livability and traffic conditions.
The projects are part of a broader modernization plan announced by Public Works Assessor Giovanna Onorati, who said, “Proseguiamo il percorso di ammodernamento e potenziamento dell’illuminazione pubblica sul nostro territorio.” ANAS will also carry out works on Via Arturo Pompeato Luchini within its jurisdiction, an effort praised by Mayor Mario Baccini. The objective is a more efficient, extensive lighting network that enhances quality of life across the commune.
