Five Finger Death Punch donates $200,000 to Team USA athletes
The hard rock band Five Finger Death Punch has donated $200,000 to support American athletes preparing for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. The funds were distributed to USA Judo and USA Cycling, specifically targeting BMX racing and freestyle programs.
The donation was made during the conclusion of the band’s 20th Anniversary North American tour on October 23, 2026, in Bristow, Virginia. The initiative was funded by a portion of every ticket sold throughout the tour.
Band members cited personal connections to the sports as motivation for the gift; guitarist Zoltan Bathory has practiced judo since age nine, and vocalist Ivan Moody has a background in BMX. Because the United States does not provide direct federal funding to its Olympic and Paralympic teams, the band noted that private contributions and sponsorships are vital for athlete preparation.
