Poland police arrest suspects in graffiti, robbery, brawl and anti‑Ukrainian assault

City cameras in Kraków’s Grzegórzki district recorded a man spray‑painting graffiti on a building in the early hours of 3 am. Municipal monitoring staff alerted the city guard, who apprehended the suspect on the spot and handed him over to the police.

In Warsaw, a 25‑year‑old Belarusian was attacked while using an ATM on Ochota. Five Georgian men were later detained in Duchnow after police recovered the stolen cash, phone and other items. The suspects face charges of robbery and attempted kidnapping.

Police in Kościerzyna used CCTV footage to identify and detain six men involved in a street brawl on 3 August. The arrested individuals, aged 17 to 28, have been placed under police supervision pending prosecution for assault.

An assault on a Ukrainian woman was captured on video near Polonijna Street in Kraków. The attacker verbally abused and struck the victim; police have opened a case under Article 257 of the penal code, which covers crimes motivated by xenophobia or racism.

In Tarnów, a 30‑year‑old Bulgarian citizen was charged with forcing women into prostitution, violent assaults and related offenses. The suspect is being held in pre‑trial detention pending a possible sentence of up to 25 years.
