Turkey's TOKİ sets Sivas housing delivery dates as officials inspect fire‑damaged Bilecik units

The Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) announced the delivery schedule for 452 social housing units in the Merkez Yapı Mahallesi neighbourhood of Sivas. Deliveries will occur block by block from 27 July to 14 August 2026, with owners required to present identification, the sales contract and, if applicable, a power of attorney. The value‑added tax arising from the handover will be added to the owners’ payment plans.

In Bilecik’s Gölpazarı district, Kaymakam Onur Titiz inspected the ongoing construction of TOKİ apartments that were rebuilt after a fire last year. He visited the Urgancılar, Alıç and Elmümin neighbourhoods, met residents, and gathered their concerns about public services and the progress of the housing projects. The inspection aimed to assess the current state of the fire‑damaged units and to ensure that reconstruction efforts meet community needs.
