Five men arrested in Indiana child predator sting operation

Five men from Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois were arrested during an undercover sting operation targeting individuals seeking unlawful contact with minors. The operation was led by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and involved multiple law enforcement agencies.

Investigators used social media to identify suspects who believed they were communicating with children. According to Bartholomew County Sheriff Chris Lane, the suspects traveled a combined distance of over 400 miles to Columbus, Indiana, under the impression they were meeting minors for sexual contact.

The arrested individuals include David Hahn, Matthew Ciske, Andrew Donat, and Luis Nunez Machuca, all facing charges of child solicitation and attempted sexual contact with a minor, which are classified as Level 4 felonies. Nathan Jones faces charges of child solicitation, possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor charges for marijuana and paraphernalia.
