Five New Carabinieri Assigned to Strengthen Stations in Rieti Province, Italy

Five recently graduated Carabinieri from the 145th training course at the schools in Campobasso and Taranto have been posted to the province of Rieti. They will serve at the stations in Accumoli (Marzio Magliocca), Borgorose (Giorgio Fucina), Castel di Tora (Francesco Pesce), Passo Corese (Valeria Stanziani) and Pescorocchiano (Domenico Vitale). The newcomers were welcomed by Colonel Valerio Marra, the provincial commander, who stressed the strategic importance of the stations for local legality and public safety.

The arrivals are presented as a significant reinforcement for prevention activities and proximity services in the Crater area, Valle del Turano, Salto‑Cicolano and Bassa Sabina. Senior officers, including Vice‑Commander General Massimo Mennitti and Chief of Staff General Andrea Taurelli Salimbeni, attended a related workshop on operational integration and drone use, underscoring the broader effort to modernise the force’s capabilities.
