Five Nights at Freddy's immersive restaurant coming to New Jersey

An immersive restaurant based on the horror video game franchise ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ is planned for the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Developed in partnership with the game’s creator, Scott Cawthon, the venue is intended to be the world’s first permanent immersive restaurant experience tied to the franchise.

The establishment will feature authentic animatronic performances on a main stage, a ‘Pirate’s Cove’ featuring the character Foxy, games, food, and multiplayer horror attractions. According to project details, the goal is to build a functional version of the fictional pizzeria rather than a mere themed set. While one report suggests an opening sometime in 2027, another indicates the project is due as early as next year.
