Five Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein Detail Abuse and Ongoing Fight for Justice

Five women who were recruited by Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell recount how they were lured with promises of education, modeling and lucrative careers, only to be subjected to physical and psychological abuse. Their testimonies describe a pattern of manipulation, from seemingly innocent job interviews to forced sexual acts, including an incident where a victim was asked to massage Epstein’s feet. Maxwell is currently serving a 20‑year prison sentence for sex‑trafficking offenses linked to the operation that the U.S. Department of Justice estimates victimized more than a thousand people. Epstein died in jail in 2019, but the case resurfaced in 2024 when former President Donald Trump pledged to release the “Epstein files” during his campaign. Survivors have since met with U.S. politicians, including Vice‑President JD Vance, who acknowledged mishandling of the files, and appeared before the House Judiciary Committee, but they say concrete justice remains elusive.
