Five9 posts 10% Q2 revenue rise and lands $100 million AI contract
Five9 reported second‑quarter 2026 revenue of $312.4 million, a 10% year‑over‑year increase, driven by accelerating subscription growth and artificial‑intelligence (AI) revenue. AI revenue jumped 78% to about $39 million, representing roughly 15% of subscription revenue, up from 9% a year earlier. The company raised its full‑year AI revenue growth outlook to at least 60% year‑over‑year.
During the quarter Five9 closed an approximately $100 million total‑contract‑value agreement with a new customer through the Google Cloud Marketplace, part of its partnership with Google Cloud. The deal coincided with the launch of Five9 Voice AI Agents, which the firm says deliver human‑like conversations and real‑time responsiveness. Five9 also announced several leadership appointments, including a new chief technology officer and chief sales officer, and was added to the S&P SmallCap 600.
CEO Amit Mathradas said the results show “the right team and strategy to extend this momentum,” noting that AI is expanding the contact‑center market rather than reducing human interaction. The company projected third‑quarter revenue of $316‑$322 million and full‑year 2026 revenue of $1.26‑$1.272 billion.
