Fixed Egypt renews ISO 27001 certification for third consecutive year

Fixed Egypt Digital Solutions and Information Security (FEDIS) has successfully renewed its ISO 27001 certification for the third consecutive year. This international standard for information security management systems focuses on risk management, data protection, and business continuity.

Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Halim, Chief Information Security Officer at FEDIS, stated that the renewal is a result of continuous efforts to develop work systems, increase operational efficiency, and enhance compliance. The company maintains a significant portfolio of digital projects in vital sectors, including the Egypt Digital Platform, which is a cornerstone of the government's digital transformation.

Additionally, FEDIS provides digital identity solutions, secure user verification, and health sector digital services, such as the national project for managing dialysis systems. The company also holds licenses for electronic signature services, including ‘Tawqee’ services, with operational permission from the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).
