Fjällräven expands Bergtagen collection and releases Expedition Down Limited Edition

Fjällräven is expanding its technical Bergtagen line for the 2026/27 season, focusing on durable materials and GORE-TEX shells designed for mountaineering and ski touring. Developed in collaboration with the Swedish Mountain Guide Association, the collection emphasizes comfort, adjustability, and repairability. The upcoming expansion includes new down jackets, a midlayer hoodie, and the Bergtagen Touring 22 backpack.

Additionally, the company has introduced a limited edition of its iconic Expedition Down Jacket. The Expedition series, which originated from founder Åke Nordin’s experience in the Swedish Arctic in 1974, is being reinterpreted through the Expedition Block Special Edition. This version applies bold block colors and graphic accents to the Expedition Down Lite Jacket, blending the brand’s heritage with a modern urban aesthetic while maintaining functional performance.
